If you travel on airlines like Frontier and they literally measure your personal item, this one went right through without even having to have it checked in their “box”. I love that it opens up like a suitcase instead of just a backpack where everything falls to the bottom and you can’t find anything, like earbuds, while en route. The shoe pocket does pretty much fill up interior space so I use it for liquids and snacks and then pack around it if you’re just going for a weekend.

I love this bag. I bought this for my trip to Europe with my husband since we were jumping around a lot and didn’t want to have a bag I had to roll around on cobblestones. I loved it so much, now my ENTIRE family each has a bag. There is the Mother Lode Jr.* which we bought for my youngest who was only 11 when we went to Europe.

I love this. I use this for travel and at home. Apparently I don’t fully close my eyes when I sleep so I need a little pressure to make sure they stay fully closed. It’s comfortable, washable, and reasonably priced. I do have to replace it every so often because the velcro does break down but it’s totally worth it for me. I could see that it would be warm if you aren’t always freezing like I am.
